I got to meet Shohreh Aghdashloo once and spoke to her for a good 10 minutes or so. Really impressive woman, though we didn't talk about movies for more than a few seconds; we mostly discussed writing and Iran.

That's cool. It seems like she'd be impressive. She's one of those actresses I'm always happy to see turn up in a movie, even if it's just a small role like X-Men 3.
How long ago did you meet her? I assume it was a while back, otherwise I'm thinking you probably would have asked her about 24.
A major trend from this year seems to have been "good performances in mediocre/bad movies". I'm looking at you, Secret Lives of Dentists.
