You know, when you started this feature I started thinking about what I'd do were I to shamelessly steal it from you. I got to thinking about great performances in terrible films and whether or not I knew of any. Right away I thought "Mia Kirshner in The Black Dahlia. Lo and behold, you appear to have considered the same thing.
Why hasn't she become a bigger star? I've loved her ever since her stint on 24. She can sure as hell act and is incredibly hot to boot.
My only beef this time around is with Gretchen Mol, who I would say gave a bland, uninspired performance in a bland, uninspired movie.
Dern is my favorite out of this batch.
